Abstract Conducting effective HV/AIDS health education in universities can enhance university students awareness of HIV/ADS-related risks, reduce risky behaviors, and decrease the risk of infection. The traditionalteaching model of HIV/AIDS health education courses has various shortcomings, which hinder the achievement ofteaching objectives and greatly compromise teaching elfectiveness, In the context of intelligent medicine, it is crucialto explore the application of virtual simulation in the reform of HIV/AIDS health education, and how to utilizemodern information technology to promote the rapid and high-quality development of virtual simulation. This articleanalyzes the significanee of virtual simulation in HIV/AIDS health education, and discusses the construction andpractical application of HIV/AIDS virtual simulation platforms, aiming to provide a basis for the development of HIV/AIDS virtual simulation and the reform of HIV/AIDS health education teaching.
