Abstract Medical education is a very important field in higher education, which involves education andmedical care. Quality is the " lifeline" of medical education, therefore ensuring the quality of medicaleducation is crucial. Now, more and more scholars pay attention to how to assure high quality of highermedical education , meeting the requirements of current society for the health needs of clinical talents. Byaetively participating in the new round of clinical medical professional certification, strengthening theinternal quality assurance of medical colleges and university, and emphasizing the construction of qualityculture, we will consider and explore elfective quality assurance strategies for medical education, build amedical education quality assurance system with our own characteristics, cultivate high-quality medicaltalents who serve the local community, and contribute to the construction of a healthy China.Keywords: local medical colleges and universities ; medical education; quality assurance
