A bstractObjective To observe the effect of ultrasound guided target injection of mecobalamin on therehabilitation of peripheral nerve injury. Methods 120 patients with peripheral nerve injury were dividedinto the conventional group and experimental group using a number table method, with 60 cases in eachgroup. The conventional group were treated with routine rehabilitation, while the experimental group werereceived multi target injection of mecobalamin under ultrasound guidanee in combination with treatment. The improvement of neurological function serum indicators , electrophysiological activities, and changes inneurological structure and sensory funetion were compared between the two groups of patients before andafter treatment. Results After treatment, brain-derived neurotrophic factor ( BNF), nerve growth factor (NGF'), neurotrophin-3( NT-3), sensory nerve conduction velocity (SCV), and motor nerve conductionvelocity ( MCV ) of the experimental group were higher than those of the conventional group, and thedifference between two groups was statistically significant( P<0.05); the nerve diameter and cross.sectional area of both groups decreased , but the nerve diameter and cross-sectional area of the experimentalgroup were higher than those of the conventional group ( P<0.05 ); BMRC scores of the experimental groupalter 4 weeks of treatment, 8 weeks of treatment. and 12 weeks of treatment were higher than those of theconventional group(P<0, 05 ). Conclusion Ultrasound guided target injection of mecobalamin canelfectively improve the serum indicators of neurological function in patients with peripheral nerve injuryand has a positive significance in promoting the recovery of patients’neuro electrophysiological activity ,neural structure , and sensory function.
