On February 20th, College of International Education carried out star rating of civilized international students’ dormitories for the first time, and organized all the international students on campus to hold an activity of experiencing the calligraphy of the Chinese characters “春”, “福”, meaning “spring” and “blessing”, and guide them in decorating their dormitories with spring couplets, paper with the Chinese character “福”, the window paper cut and lanterns, creating a dense atmosphere of the Chinese New Year. “Thank GLMU for giving us a meaningful Chinese culture experience activity, making me feel so warm at heart as I am away from home for the first time,” said Sah Anjali, a Nepalese freshman.
In this activity, three 5-star civilized dormitories, five 4-star civilized dormitories, and eight 3-star civilized dormitories are rated.
