On March 19, College of International Education organized the international students on campus to get vaccinated against COVID-19. In the afternoon, the overseas students came to the center for vaccination early. And then they queued, registered their passport information, and smoothly completed their first injection of the vaccine.
“I didn’t expect the vaccination to be made so soon, and I am happy indeed,”said Paswan from Nepal.“Our country is short of vaccine, and the procedures for vaccination are so complicated that they require many forms to be filled and a long waiting. I didn’t hesitate to apply for the vaccination as soon as I got the information.”As an intern, he told us his family was concerned about his health, and felt quite relieved after knowing he was safe in China and got vaccinated. After graduation, he will be back home smoothly.
Quite a few international students hurriedly asked about the schedule of the second injection, hoping the vaccination will be finished as soon as possible. Knowing that GLMU arranged vaccination for them as early as possible though the vaccine was limited, the international students who stayed at the university were quite moved. They were very grateful to GLMU’s care and help and they felt so warm to be able to get vaccinated for free.
